Our Vision
Our vision is clear: we want to lead by example, taking action to solve urgent environmental, social, and economic challenges.
As we move forward, we will:
- champion zero carbon development and affordable homes
- build a local green economy with sustainable jobs and suppliers
- support residents and businesses in making sustainable choices
- foster a sustainable and inclusive future for all generations

Our commitment to net zero
We are:
- committed to reduce the amount of carbon we emit as an organisation and as a borough
- moving towards our ambitions through the delivery of our sustainability action plan
- proud of the accelerated pace of change and the progress we have made since May 2022.
Whilst putting residents, communities and businesses at the heart of our delivery we have:

- raised awareness of the impact of a changing climate on our environment
