Shared Lives remains the highest quality form of care among other available social care options, with 96% of Shared Lives Services nationally scoring a CQC rating of either a ‘good’ or ‘outstanding.
Shared Lives also consistently receives positive feedback from individuals using the service.
As per recent reports, 98% of the individuals in Shared Lives felt they were part of the family most or all of the time, while 85% felt their physical and emotional health had improved.
In comparison to the other forms of care, 85% felt their Shared Lives carer’s support helped them have more choice in their daily life and 92% felt involved with their community.
