Trading standards

Barnet Trading Standards is responsible for enforcing Trading Standards laws to ensure businesses are trading fairly in Barnet. This includes:

age restricted products
animal health and welfare
fair trading, including pricing, descriptions of goods, digital content and services, terms and conditions
petrol and fireworks storage
intellectual property (for example, fake or counterfeit products)
product safety - the Office for Product Safety Standards provides product recalls and alerts guidance
weights and measures.

If you wish to report a problem to trading standards anonymously, you can do this through London Trading Standards.
