About ULEZ

The Mayor of London expanded the Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) from its current boundary along the North Circular to cover the whole borough.

This will help improve London's air quality.

How the ULEZ expansion affects Barnet

If you drive anywhere within the ULEZ and your vehicle does not meet the emissions standards, you could face a daily charge of £12.50. 

This includes people living in the ULEZ. However, you don't need to pay the ULEZ charge if you are parked inside the zone and don't drive.

Discounts and exemptions

Some drivers and vehicles qualify for at least a temporary 100% discount from the ULEZ. Others are entirely exempt.
