Notice of Vacancy for a Councillor

Following the resignation received today from Councillor Liron Velleman, I hereby give notice that a vacancy now exists in the office of Borough Councillor for the Whetstone Ward of the London Borough of Barnet.

In accordance with Section 89(1) of the Local Government Act 1972, once notice has been given to me by two registered electors of the London Borough of Barnet to fill said vacancy, an election will be held within 35 working days.
