How to use BSL Interpreters Live! to contact us
You can contact Barnet online using a British Sign Language interpreter.
We use the Interpreters Live! Service, which is provided by Sign Solutions.
This is a video call service and is available:
- Monday to Thursday 9am to 5:15pm
- Friday 9am to 5pm
It’s easy to use the Interpreters Live Service:
- Go to InterpretersLive! Barnet webpage to connect to a video BSL Interpreter.
- You will then be asked to enter your name and select the Barnet service you want to contact.
- You'll then be connected to a video BSL Interpreter.

Pre-booking a BSL interpreter
You can pre-book BSL video interpreters for virtual appointments anytime.
To book your 60minute appointment, email interpreterslive@signsolutions.uk.com.
In your email, tell us the date and time you would like to use the service.
Use BSL Interpreters Live! at Burnt Oak Library
If you don't have your own digital device like a laptop or mobile phone and you want to use Interpreters Live! to contact Barnet Council. You can use public laptops at Burnt Oak library and connect to Interpreters Live!
This service is available on Monday and Wednesday each week, from 9am to 5pm. Please arrive before 4pm.
