Parkruns in Barnet
All parkruns commence at 9:00 AM and are designed for participants aged 4 and above. Additionally, we offer junior parkruns specifically tailored for younger children.
- Oakhill Park parkrun
- Sunny Hill Park parkrun
- Friary Park junior parkrun 4 to 14 year old (families can also participate).
TCS London Mini Marathon Championships
This year Barnet had 31 athletes competing in the TCS MM aged from 11 to 17 boys and girls. The London Mini Marathon route takes place on the last 2.6k of the London Marathon route, starting at Temple Place, Embankment and finishing at the world-famous finish Line on The Mall.

The TCS London Mini Marathon Championships will return on Saturday 26th April 2025.
How to run for Barnet
Each London borough can be represented by a maximum of 6 boys and 6 girls in each age group:
- under 13s (years 7 and 8)
- under 15s (years 9 and 10)
- under 17s (years 11 and 12)
To be eligible to represent Barnet, individuals must either reside in the borough, have been born there, or attend school within its boundaries.
The team to represent Barnet, will be chosen based on the quickest times for a 5 Km Parkrun.
Submit your interest!
If you are interested in representing Team Barnet, please submit your entry via our email below by 5pm on Monday 17th March 2025.
To submit your interest in being part of Team Barnet, you need to:
register and attend at least one Parkrun It doesn’t have to be done in Barnet, but must be recorded within the year of the competition date.
All Parkrun results will be verified on the Parkrun website.
6 young people will be selected for each age category with 3 reserves. Successful athletes will be contacted via email to confirm their position in the team.
The TCS Mini London Marathon para championships provide a fantastic opportunity for young disabled athletes to compete. The event includes categories for wheelchair and ambulant athletes, covering the same 2.6 km route as the main Mini Marathon.
