Conversation Café is for adults whose first language is not English. It is an informal activity to help improve English language skills. The sessions are fun, relaxed and welcoming, and they cover different subjects and topics. They aim to help your confidence grow in speaking English. This event takes place during term time only every Friday from 3pm to 4pm (See School term and holiday dates). Bestselling crime writers, Ian Moore and Mark Billingham discuss their latest books with Cari Rosen.  After 30 years as a stand-up comedian, Ian Moore turned to writing in 2021 with the first in his Follet Valley Mystery series.  Mark Billingham is one of the UK's most acclaimed and popular crime writers. A former actor, television writer and stand-up comedian, his series of novels featuring D.I. Tom Thorne have won multiple awards.  Age guidance: Adults only.  This event is part of Barnet Libraries Literary Festival.

Do you want to refresh your wardrobe or give your home a new look? Bring your pre-loved clothes, jewellery and other household items  and swap them with other locals. A sustainable way to shop! You can also speak with The Loop Grahame Park about ways to upcycle furniture at home. Please bring lightly worn, non-damaged, clean items for adults and teens only. We cannot accept underwear, socks, hosiery or swimming costumes, shoes or electrical items. No need to book, just drop in.

Pilot training This Easter, young aviators can take to the skies at the RAF Museum! Pilot Training is packed with hands-on missions designed to test five key RAF skills. From codebreaking to teamwork, recruits aged 4–12 will take part in exciting challenges to earn their wings. Activities include: 🛩️ Aircrew Needs You! – Join an interactive mission to train for the skies 🧩 Problem-Solving Pandemonium – Crack puzzles with the Happy Puzzle Company 🪂 Find the Fallen Parachutist – Use codebreaking skills to complete your rescue

A delightful dragontastic show for pop princesses and naughty knights. Feisty Sue is not your everyday fairy tale superstar, in fact she’s The Worst Princess. After being rescued by her twit of a prince she’s ready to start her happy end. But first she’ll have to make friends with a dragon, escape from a tower and set the Prince’s pants on fire with her new fire-breathing bestie. Will Sue find her happily ever after?

Watch Bubble Artist Olena create a fabulous display of bubbles to music.  This event is for people aged 60+ and their carers only. This event is part of our Loving Life project, a community health project for older adults in 2025. We particularly welcome those living with dementia and their carers. Loving Life is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England. Booking is essential. Each adult and carer needs a ticket.
