Join us for a themed craft event on the last Saturday of every month. This month's theme is for Elmer Day!  Get ready for the most colourful day of the year! Elmer Day is back on 25th May and this year will be an extra special celebration for Elmer’s 35th birthday. Suitable for children ages 2 to 6 years.  The event is free to attend, no need to book but first come first served.

In this free family workshop, you'll be given all the tools and inspiration you'll need to pool imaginations and create unique, vibrant works of art. The mediums of choice will be gouache and watercolour paints, with a host of supplementary materials to make your creations really pop. Materials are all included, but make sure you bring your imagination. Suitable for ages 5 to 8 years. Booking required. Please book via the link.

For the second year running Barnet Council will be a destination for the London Festival of Architecture (LFA). Celebrating its 20th year, the theme for this year's festival is 'Reimagine' and Barnet's LFA programme is packed full of exciting activities for all ages to celebrate the architecture, local art and cultural assets within the borough. Barnet Libraries are proud to be taking part again and there are lots of events for adults and children throughout June.

Celebrate our Grandparents Week at our mosaic workshop and create a beautiful woodland themed animal mosaic. Children- bring your Grandparent or an older adult friend to the library and enjoy the fun of using professional mosaic making tools and selecting your tiles from our large array of colourful, sparkling mosaic glass.  Work on your design together or you can make a mosaic of your own. Booking is essential.
