Art Against Knives
Is a Barnet youth charity supporting and preventing young people from becoming victims or perpetrators of violent crime. Projects include: “One-Mic Real Talk” podcast course; “Design and Make” fashion course; “On Track” music course; N2 Combat Economy; Dollis Valley Ballers Basketball Tournament and general support with overcoming barriers to employment.

Body & Soul Charity
Body & Soul is an innovative charity that uses a comprehensive, community-based and trauma informed approach to address the life-threatening effects of childhood adversity in people of all ages. dedicated programmes for young people aged 13 to 19. The therapeutic relationship with Body & Soul starts as soon as someone registers.
Current programmes include direct therapeutic interventions, either 1-to-1 or in small groups, including integrative psychotherapy, systemic family therapy, life-coaching, DBT, EMDR, arts/creative therapies and a range of complementary therapies.

his organisation offers skilled counselling support to people who have been bereaved. Counselling is offered one hour per week either in the person's home at the office. There is no charge for the service.

The National Bereavement Service offers practical and emotional support to guide you through bereavement. Homelessness and support with housing
Homelessness and Young People
Are you 16 or 17 years old and homeless or at risk of becoming homeless? You don’t need to be sleeping on the street to contact us. If you are staying at a friend’s or staying somewhere that is not safe because someone has been violent towards you, let us know. You can contact us directly, or you may be referred to us by someone else like your school or college.

- from friends and other young people, whether at school, online or in other ways

- from older adults, whether LGBT+ or non-LGBT+

They work with young people who:
- want a space to talk about what’s happening and think through their options
- need help and those who don’t know what to do about their situation
- are not sure if what is happening is abuse
- are homeless or might be homeless because of what’s happening.

AKT is a national LGBTQ+ youth homelessness charity that supports LGBTQ+ young people aged 16-25yrs who are facing or experiencing homelessness or living in a hostile environment.
