Change Grow Live Barnet is the local service for adults and young people who are experiencing issues with drugs and alcohol. A free and confidential service for young people up to 24 years old. The team can help you with lots of different things that might be affecting you, including problems with drugs and alcohol, or other issues like mental and sexual health.

Online safety

UK safer internet centre

There are three main services:

  • To provide advice and support to children and young people, parents and carers, schools and the children’s workforce.
  • Helpline – to provide support to professionals working with children and young people with online safety issues.
  • An anonymous and safe place to report and remove child sexual abuse imagery and videos shared on online platforms.

There is also an excellent bank of free resources available to view and download, including videos and Top Tips to Stay Safe online.

Barnet offers a dedicated young people sexual health drop-in clinic every Tuesday at clinic in Edgware Community Hospital between 3:30pm to 6:30pm which requires no appointment, just walk-in. Additionally, young people can walk-in to Barnet sexual health clinics (both located at the lower ground floor) anytime during our opening hours if they cannot attend during the drop-in session or want to be seen urgently.
