Contact a Family is a UK-wide charity providing advice, information and support to parents of all disabled children - no matter what their health condition. We enable parents to get in contact with other families through a family linking service, both on a local and national basis. We have a freephone helpline offering a one-stop-shop for families of children with disabilities, offering advice on welfare rights, community care issues, education needs and a listening ear with access to interpreters. We also have a number of local, regional and national offices plus volunteer family workers around the UK. We also provide information to professionals and developmental advice to support groups.
