Barnet Carers Centre

Barnet Carers Centre provides a wide range of services including advice, information, counselling, practical and emotional support to unpaid carers of people who are physically or mentally ill, frail or disabled.

The centre offers drop-in facilities, a telephone helpline, welfare benefits surgeries, a former carers group, relaxation days and evenings, a carer respite fund and a counselling service.

Although the centre supports all carers, specialist support is available for multicultural carers, carers with a physical or sensory impairment, carers of adults with a learning disability, mental health carers, young carers and older carers or carers of older people.

Most services are free of charge, however some do require a small donation, based on ability to pay.
