- hearing aid maintenance service of drop in and home visiting to get the best out of NHS hearing aids
- technology and information centre displaying an extensive range of the latest equipment to try out for suitability (eg telephones, mobile phones, doorbells, smoke detectors, alarms, personal hearing loops)
- professional advice on coping with a hearing loss and improving communication
- lip reading classes to improve communication, knowledge and confidence
- support for new hearing aid users
- impartial information on audiology in the NHS and private sector including technical advice and guidance on the most appropriate hearing aids to suit your needs
- discussion groups including debates on topical matters, ensuring that everyone is fully involved
