Why we propose to fell these trees: Highways improvement scheme to install a zebra crossing. Safe crossing will be affected by this tree due to visibility.
Information about replanting proposals: As part of our sustainable tree planting programme, we plan to plant 3-4 new trees in the immediate area in suitable locations for future growth.
The consultation period has now ended. 1 Objection received from local resident, no objections from HGS Resident Association. Construction approval for Zebra crossing still to be confirmed. Removal of tree would proceed if construction were to go ahead.
