A mosaic workshop to create pieces for the Golders Green Library Garden.

An overgrown space behind Golders Green Library is to be transformed from an empty area with limited access into an attractive garden for residents to enjoy. The garden will be designed and managed with local partners, strengthening connections between the library and the community, and encouraging use by groups currently less likely to visit the library.

To celebrate this and the London Festival of Architecture we are holding a workshop to create vibrant mosaic artworks for the garden that will bring colour and warmth to our community space throughout the year.

Led by Montet Designs, this initiative promotes inclusion, accessibility, and intergenerational connections by uniting diverse community groups through the mindful and relaxing process of mosaic-making. Together, we are creating a welcoming space where people can gather, share stories, and enjoy moments of connection, reflection, and creativity.

This is a 3 week course on Thursdays 12, 19 and 26 June.

Booking is essential.
