Kick off with a verse starts with some gentle stretching and guided relaxation. This prepares the body and mind to listen to a poem which gives participants a springboard for talking together. Then, there is an invitation to write down some of your own thoughts. Not in polished writing or as a poem, but in your own unique way. Don’t forget to bring a pen and something to write on!
Karin De Novellis has a background in teaching and counselling. She is interested in both the spoken and written word and how they can enhance our well-being.

This event is part of our Loving Life project, a community health project for older adults in 2025. We particularly welcome those living with dementia and their carers. Loving Life is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
