Share your passion through your writing in the Speak Up! Speak Out! writing competition. The best entries will be published in a downloadable e-book.
Entries are 600 words maximum of original writing on an environmental theme and can be either in the category of creative writing or a citizen journalism article written by the young person. You can enter up to one piece of writing in each category.
Local contexts for the writing will be preferred as an expression of ‘think global, act local’ as will an explicit or implicit underlying reference to Net Zero in line with BARNETZERO goals.
Prizes will be awarded to the winner in each category and to the runners up.
This writing competition is the chance for young people to speak out and be heard regarding environmental concerns that matter to them. This event is being organised by the Education Department of Middlesex University specifically for BCAM.
