For background to this request, please note the Government's guidance on design codes as part of the planning process: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/national-model-design-code Please advise: 1. Has your local authority adopted a design code? if so please provide a copy. 2. If you have adopted a Design Code, what measures (if any) you undertook to test its popular support locally? Specifically, was any market research conducted? Was the relative support of alternative types of architecture measured using illustrated examples? 3. If you have not adopted a Design Code, what plans (if any) do you have to do so?
