CONSULTATION AND PLANS FOR ZEBRA CROSSINGS 4 years ago I asked for a Zebra Crossing in Kingsley way NW11 so people can cross safely between the Parks. It never happened. While there was a leaflet on the nearest post and to the residents of Kingsley close it seems no one else was notified. No advertising or Social media by Barnet. With a Public House application there are rules and all comments and 'pressure' seems Public and can be seen online. Why are these roads applications so secret? It seems that this Zebra is blocked by 2-3 Councillors only two of whom live in HGS. Could I ask under FOI to see correspondence? If not why not? We only have one Zebra in HGS. This was objected to by the Conservative Councillors and the HGS Residents Association and The HGS Trust. It all seem sleazy in retrospect.The Ossulton way Zebra was finally installed at the expense of a Conservative Councillors career.
