I appreciate the work the council does to balance infrastructure needs with community interests. I am reaching out with a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to better understand the rationale behind dropped kerb decisions and how policies are applied. I believe this information will help ensure a collaborative approach that aligns both resident needs and council objectives.To assist with this, I kindly request the following information in Excel format where possible:1. Dropped Kerb Applications on Hampden Way, Southgate, which have bee approved where there is a grass verge of 2m or more (Last 10 Years)*A list of all approved applications for dropped kerbs on Hampden Way, Southgate in the past 10 years where there is a grass verge of 2m or more.*A list of all exceptions granted where grass verges were present, including any conditions imposed for approval. This includes appeals.*The decision date for each application.*The rationale/commentary provided for each decision.*Any references to previous approvals influencing a decision.2. Grass Verge Rejections & Exceptions (Last 5 Years)*A list of all applications refused in the past 5 years specifically due to the 2m grass verge restriction.*The decision date for each application.*The rationale/commentary provided for each decision.*Any references to previous approvals influencing a decision.3. Internal Policy Documents & Decision-Making Criteria*The latest internal policy document(s) guiding the assessment of dropped kerb applications.*Specific policy references regarding the 2m grass verge restriction, including any mitigations or exceptions allowed.4.
