School Streets Scheme

This request relates to the School Street Scheme at Moss Hall Grove / Essex Park, but also generally across Barnet - if there is any difference.1. In a previous FOI, the decision-maker whether the Scheme is retained was stated as the Director of Highways and Transportation. Who else is involved in the decision? Is anyone able to veto or override the decision? For example, are the Local Councillors able to call-in the decision as they are with Planning Applications?2. To what extent are the Local Councillors involved in the decision-making process of whether the School Street Schemes are (a) introduced, and (b) retained? Are they asked there opinion before they are proposed, are they consultation whether they are retained, what powers do they have to influence or override the decision?
