Exempt Accommodation Housing Benefit & Service Registration

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I am requesting the following information relating to exempt accommodation Housing Benefit claims for shared housing settings (i.e. non-self-contained supported housing) in your borough:1. The average weekly Housing Benefit paid per resident for shared exempt accommodation in the financial year 2023-2024.2. The highest weekly Housing Benefit paid per resident for shared exempt accommodation during that period.3. The number of exempt accommodation/housing claims currently active in shared housing settings.4. A breakdown of the five highest weekly claim amounts paid in 2023-2024 and the types of support those placements were designed to provide (e.g. domestic abuse, young mothers, care leavers, trauma, etc.).5. Confirmation of whether the council uses any cap or benchmark figure for weekly Housing Benefit claims in exempt accommodation, particularly for shared housing.In addition, I would appreciate the following information:6. The name and contact details (email) of the officer or department responsible for dealing with exempt accommodation Housing Benefit enquiries and registration. Guidance on how to register or apply as a new exempt accommodation provider in the borough ' can providers approach the council proactively, or only when they have a resident in place?8. Does the borough currently engage in integrated commissioning models, for example combining Housing Benefit with Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation funding, homelessness prevention, or other supported housing funding streams?9. The name and contact details (email) of the officer responsible for working with or assessing new supported housing providers, including any Housing Options Manager or Supported Housing Commissioning Lead.
