If you can’t find your vehicle on the street

Your vehicle may have been moved to the nearest available parking place by the council.

In some cases, we will move vehicles to our car pound if they are illegally parked.

Tow-away Removal and Clamping Enquires (TRACE) tells you if your vehicle has been taken to the car pound or if it’s been relocated.

If you can’t access the TRACE service online, you can call our enforcement line on 0203 856 0020, Monday to Saturday 7:30am to 22:30pm, Sunday / Bank Holiday 08:30am to 16:30pm and we will check the TRACE service on your behalf.

What you’ll need to release your car

To release your vehicle from the car pound, you’ll need to provide:

• proof of ownership (V5C registration document or insurance certificate)
• proof of identity (utility bill or driving licence).

The car pound accept Debit or Credit Card only. Cash is not accepted.
