Join us for a fun session of spring themed crafts!

Barnet Libraries are working with The Finchley Charities to provide patches for the CommUnity Quilt Project Barnet. People of all ages and backgrounds are welcome and encouraged to join the free patch making workshops at Finchley Church End Library to create and contribute a piece to the quilt. Materials are provided or you can bring your own. Workshop dates, Wednesday 5 February, 2:30 - 4:30pm Saturday 8 March, 11am - 1pm Monday 31 March, 6 - 8pm. Booking not required.

Bubble artist Olena will be performing her amazing bubble show to music.  Please note that this is a performance and children are required to sit and watch with their adult throughout the performance.  For health and safety reasons children cannot wander around during the performance. Suitable for under-fives.

Let's celebrate the return of spring by creating lovely bookmarks to make your reading experience even more enjoyable! Suitable for children aged 6+. Booking required. Please book through the link provided.   Each ticket admits one child and an accompanying adult.

Explore the powers of creating a “still life” and develop new skills from composition, reinterpretation and working with mixed media, drawing and montage techniques. The session will not only focus the mind on artistic creation but also foster a sense of wellbeing, social interaction and create a memorable artwork and memory aid. For example, for everyday events from leaving the house with a phone, keys and a shopping bag, laying a table, or making a cup of tea, arranging flowers in a vase, or arranging vegetables in a bowl. This event is suitable for older adults.
