Rhyme Time is a 30 minute facilitated session for parents and carers and their babies and toddlers. The session involves nursery rhymes and songs, books and a story.

Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Baby Bounce and Play at Finchley Church End Library

Gentle singing, movement, books and engaging activities that will stimulate your baby's senses and encourage their development.

Sessions cost £3.00 per child payable when booking in advance online.

These activity sessions are run by the libraries specialist early years team.

Conversation Cafe at Chipping Barnet library

Conversation Cafe is for people whose first language is not English and who would like to improve their speaking skills.

The sessions cover a variety of subjects and topics to help you gain confidence in speaking English in a fun, relaxed and welcoming environment.

To the Stars: Illuminating the Art Collection in 50 Works

Marking 50 years since the RAF Museum’s opening, To the Stars showcases 50 powerful artworks by key 20th-century British and European artists. Exploring themes of flight, ambition, war, and innovation, the exhibition spans from early aviation to the Cold War and beyond.

How many words to tell the world?

Young performing artists present a short live theatre show about the impacts of climate change. Through movement, poetry, and theatrical languages, the performing arts learners from Barnet Southgate College explore perceptions of growing on a planet radically in change.
