The National Databank provides free data to those in need through the Good Things Foundation’s network of community partners, in partnership with Virgin Media/O2 and Vodafone. Barnet Libraries are a partner in this national scheme.

Eligible individuals may receive either: 

Conversation Cafe at Childs Hill library

Conversation Café is for people whose first language is not English and who would like to improve their speaking skills.

The sessions cover a variety of subjects and topics to help you gain confidence in speaking English in a fun, relaxed and welcoming environment.

Time to Unwind at Finchley Church End library

Join us at Finchley Church End Library for our fortnightly Time to Unwind drop-in session with puzzles, crafts, mindful colouring and more. Get to know people in your local community and take some time to relax.

This event is suitable for adults.

Board Games Bonanza at Chipping Barnet library

Age UK digital drop-in session in Mill Hill

Help using your digital equipment (phones, laptops, tablets, and computers) as well as advice on using websites, and email.

This is a free drop-in session, no need to book.

Rhyme Time at Colindale library

Rhyme Time is a 30 minute facilitated session for parents and carers and their babies and toddlers. The session involves nursery rhymes and songs, books and a story.

Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. 

Rhyme Time takes places in term time only.
