About the Academy   The Academy of Public Health for London was established by Health Education England in partnership with several stakeholders including Public Health England and the Association of Directors of Public Health.

About Upper and Lower Fosters The new masterplan for Upper and Lower Fosters (also known as the Fosters Estate) is being developed through an exemplar community co-design process, the first time this approach has been taken in Barnet. This has involved the estate residents, neighbours and local community organisations from the very beginning of the project, in deciding what to build, where and how.

The Council’s office in Colindale is located 7 minutes from Colindale tube station and has 4 rooms available for the members of the public to hire. The rooms can be used for a variety of events including:

The southern part of Friern Barnet has been popularly understood to be a part of Muswell Hill since the 1900s. Through the centre of the district runs Colney Hatch Lane, which was a part of an important early medieval road. The area was covered in dense woodland such as Finchley and Hollick Woods.

Peer Champion Scheme  The Peer Champion Scheme is commissioned by the Resilient Schools Programme local offer and is available to all Barnet State Secondary Schools.
