The Planning Policy Team is responsible for preparing the council’s statutory Development Plan to guide growth and change in the Borough over the next 15 years as well as provide the policy basis for the determination of planning applications. 

Barnet Foster Carers Association (BAFCA) is a voluntary organisation, funded by Barnet Council and founded by Barnet foster carers. We offer a range of services including Support, Social Activities, Information, Advice and Practical Help for all foster carers and their families. All foster carers who foster for Barnet automatically become a member of BAFCA. We are coordinated by a small committee of foster carers and provides a supportive space for carers to meet, share experiences and support one another.
